HVMN Conference 2019

This year the annual HVMN Conference will take place at the Mercure City Hotel in central Glasgow on the 19th and 20th of November. This unique conference will bring together hospice staff from across the country to hear keynote speakers Linda McEnhill, CEO of Ardgowan Hospice and Agnes Fletcher, Equality & Human Rights Consultant & Trainer. Workshops will cover a wide range of topics including Diversifying the Volunteer Workforce, Involving Volunteers in Care Roles, Project Management and Safeguarding from hospice volunteer managers with specialist first-hand knowledge of their subject and also speakers from Sense and Volunteer Glasgow. We will also hear from a number of presenters in our popular Short Talks sections too, offering a small insight into projects they’ve worked on and wisdom they are keen to share. Between workshops there is the perfect opportunity to network and get advice and help with the projects you’re working on.
